Very reluctant sale of these Stunning Canon Matt Black Mushroom Full Range Speakers Were designed and enginered but Allen Boothroyd of Meridian and anyone interested in Home Audio will know and Respect the names. Medidian are still going and make very high end audio http://www.meridian-audio.com/ http://www.meridian-audio.com/the-meridian-story.aspx Very Rare and Highly Collectable These are even rarer as they come with the Canon Stands which only fit these speakers and were bought from Canon at the same time as the speakers at a total cost of around 600 - 700 and this was back in the early 1990s! Sound quality is very good and the design is such that the speakers sound comes off the reflective black and dispurses around the room to fill it with ease. These are great running off a TV, as part of a surround sound set up adn the speakers can also be easily removed from the stands to be used as book shelf speakers! These do not come up for sale very often and never with the stands!
